Summary: | From the articulation of the theoretical contributions of Norbert Elias, Michel Foucault and Pierre Bourdieu, I contrast the dialogue between agency and structure and I describe the developments of subjectivity notions, power and structure on each author. First, I return the key concepts of Elias, to think about figuration and structuring. Then, I bring Foucault and his decentralization of subject. At last, I discuss part of Bourdieu's theory, highlighting the weight of the constructivist structural analysis. To, finally, protrude the dialogues and disputes among the three authors. |
