Summary: | The treatment of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes is complex, and includes specific knowledge and procedures that must be incorporated and carried out by the patient and their caregivers in their daily lives. The recommendation of intensified treatment and the use of new technologies to meet therapeutic objectives in the peadiatric population is a challenge in several aspects. One of them is related to the educational strategies that pediatric diabetes teams must implement to provide the necessary tools so that caregivers can take appropriate behavior in each particular circumstance in the changing day-to-day life of children. |
