Summary:Robotic technology is one of the most dynamically evolving fields in medicine. Alongside technological advancement, there is a growing demand for automated functions aimed at preventing human errors. The application of robotic technologies in cardiology, especially in electrophysiology, is becoming increasingly widespread. Robots enable more precise and safer interventions, overcoming the limitations of manual methods. This review primarily focuses on describing the most widely available cardiac robotic technology at present, the robotic magnetic navigation system (RMN). The RMN system offers numerous advantages during catheter ablation procedures, including reduced fluoroscopy exposure, decreased incidence of complications, and improved acute and long-term success rates. RMN is a valuable tool in the treatment of complex arrhythmias, as well as in patients with congenital heart defects or those who have undergone previous surgical interventions. Its exceptional image integration capabilities and precise catheter navigation offer a safe and effective solution in the field of electrophysiology.
