Summary:Phosphatidylinositol-3， 4， 5-triphosphate-dependent Rac exchange factor 1 （PREX1） is a coding gene that is abnormally expressed in a variety of tumors. As a guanine nucleotide exchange factor （RacGEF） of small GTP binding protein Rac1， PREX1 gene-encoded protein can form PREX1/Rac pathway through activating Rac1， crosstalk with a variety of classical signaling pathways， participate in the regulation of various receptor reactions in the tumor process， affect the epithelial-mesenchymal transformation process of the tumor microenvironment and play a role in tumor proliferation，metastasis and prognosis.
