Summary:The article is connected with a critical study within the framework of the comparative method. It is connected with the clarification of the linguistic, verbal and practical meaning of the words "hajj, ibadah, hijra, zakat / zakat, voodoo, khutba, azan" associated with the rites of worship in Russian in comparison with Arabic language. She emphasized their role in the large Russian lexicon and its interaction with the rest of other foreign words in the Russian language on the material of the National Corpus of the Russian Language.
