Summary:Comparative analysis of the X-ray examination methods revealed the higher informational content of the cone-beam computed tomography up to 5,51±0,61% than the orthopantomography in the diagnosis of endoperiodontitis in patients aged 35-44 years with periodontal diseases. It has been proved that the cone-beam computed tomography gave the possibility to visualize the main pathways interconnecting the endodontium and periodontium, which has been an important step in the endoperiodontitis diagnosis.
