Summary:The aim of this study is to examine the influence of interorganizational communication and learning on the performance of the relationship between agricultural cooperatives and suppliers. Survey research was carried out with corporate-level boundary spanners of agricultural cooperatives. A questionnaire was sent via the Google Forms platform to the 252 boundary spanners who accepted the invitation and the final sample totaled 95 valid responses. To test the research hypotheses, the structural equation modeling technique estimated through partial least squares was applied. The results show that interorganizational communication contributes to the performance of the relationship and learning. Learning positively influences relationship performance and mediates the relationship between interorganizational communication and relationship performance. These results elucidate the relevance of interorganizational communication and learning in the relationships between cooperatives and their suppliers.
