Summary:Self-esteem is an evaluation of a person’s own self-worth; comprising three-dimension: physical appearance, romantic attractiveness, and the ability to form and maintain close friendships. Self-esteem is the perception of how people perceive their own value well as their value to others. Social networks are media that provide the opportunity to shape a picture of ourselves by creating unique profiles to show the desired image of ourselves. Individuals communicate with other people through the images they have created about these people, discovering personal details and creating insights into the lives of others. The use of social networks haves negative and positive effects. Personality and self-esteem are influential factors of communication of the individual with other people.
