Summary:The development and progression of tumor is closely associated with the microenvironment in which the tumor is located. In the process of bone metastasis, the numerous immune cells in bone marrow microenvironment play an important role in the colonization of tumor cells and the formation of metastases, and in particular, they can assist tumor cells with immune escape. Therefore, it is especially important to explore effective interventions to suppress the immune escape of tumor. This article reviews the role of macrophages, myeloid-derived suppressor cells, and lymphocytes in bone metastasis, so as to provide a refe-rence for the basic research on tumor immunotherapy and clinical treatment.
