Summary:Sarcopenia occurred in aged population has become a research hotspot in recent years. Chronic low-level inflammation is an important factor leading to muscle loss. Exercise training is an effective countermeasure to antagonize skeletal muscle loss, and its mechanism is potentially explained by enhancing the response of immune system and Stimulating an in vivo anti-inflammatory response. The immune mechanisms which improves clinical outcome of sarcopenia by different exercise methods need more research for the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia in aged population.
