Summary:This paper presents a procedure to acquire and develop professional skills by the Agronomy technician, through Mathematics, according to the requirements of the Professional Pedagogical Process. A methodological approach for planning, preparation, and realization of the teaching process is used to help develop the skill measuring area, which is needed to master other professional skills. It is based on interaction between math contents and the contents of other subjects. Additionally, the results from implementation at Alvaro Barba Machado Polytechnic School of Agronomy, in the city of Camaguey, and its contribution to professional skills, are explained.
