Summary:Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one disease that often strikes children under five year. Since 2008 ISPA is most prevalent diseases in health service center (Puskesmas) Paruga Bima, particularly in sub Dara. One of the factors the occurrence of respiratory disease in infants is mother's knowledge. This study aims to identify the level of mothers knowledge about ISPA based on the characteristics of education, occupation and age of the mother. This research was conducted by using descriptive and observational cross-sectional study design during the period from March to April 2016. Subjects who met the inclusion criteria a number of 88 mothers with toddlers. Data obtained from the questionnaires is accompanied by interviews with respondents. The result showed a mother who has good knowledge of (20.4%), sufficient amount of (53.4%) and less of (26.13%). It can be concluded the level of knowledge of mothers who dominate the category enough
