Summary:Objective: to prove the necessity to ensure the reference level of biodiversity for the territory’s ecological development. Methods: abstract-logical, historical, trend analysis, grouping method. Results: features of preserving the Russia’ ecosystem are revealed through state natural reserves organizing. Quantity of bio-resources in Zhiguli reserve and Samara region are estimated. Scientific novelty: economic methods are formulated to ensure the reference level of biodiversity, quadro-system of economic mechanism of their implementation is designed. Practical significance: the proposed mechanism allows to ensure the steady ecological development of the territory.
