Summary:This article discusses the concept of distributed creativity (CLARKE; DOFFMAN, 2017) and its intersections with the theory of collaborative circles by Michael Farrell (2001), presenting an example of collaboration between Duo Sofia Leandro and Bruno Santos with composer Harry Crowl. Examples of aspects arising from the processes that led to creative decision-making are presented, from the composition to the premiere of Concerto nº4, for violin and percussion, in the form of a via-crucis on the name of Marielle Franco, in November 2019. The collaboration favored the expansion of sound interactions between the violin and the different percussion instruments, as well as the symbolic discourse inherent in the form of the piece and in the dedication. The examples focus on issues related to instrumentation, exploring timbres and expanded techniques, time management and stage setup.
