Summary:Conductive anticorrosive coatings were prepared by using Eucommia Ulmoides gum(EUG)and epoxy resin (E-51) as matrix and carbon nanotubes (CNT) as conductive filler. The effects of EUG amount on corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity of the coating were investigated. The thermal properties of the composite coating were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry and dynamic thermomechanical, and the conductivity of the composite coating was tested by a four-probe tester, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, salt spray test and adhesion were used to characterize the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of the composite coating. The results showed that when the EUG amount was 8 phr, the conductivity of the coating film of the conductive anticorrosive coating prepared by this method reached 0.083 s/cm, and the electrochemical impedance was about 9×107 Ω·cm2. EUG had good compatibility with E-51, and the addition of EUG could improve the corrosion resistance and conductivity of the coating
