Summary:With the development of industry and agriculture, a large amount of phosphorus is discharged into natural water bodies, leading to eutrophication in water bodies. Traditional chemical and biological methods cannot effectively remove low concentration of phosphate from water. Combining adsorbent with ultrafiltration membrane is expected to capture and adsorb low concentration of phosphate by cross-flow filtration. Dolomite modified biochar adsorbent(DO/BB) was loaded into polyvinylidene difluoride(PVDF) ultrafiltration membrane(PVDF-DO/BB). The microstructure, mechanical property and phosphate adsorption/separation performance of PVDF-DO/BB were investigated. The results showed that compared with pure PVDF membrane, the surface roughness of PVDF-DO/BB composite membrane increased and its hydrophilicity deteriorated. The tensile strength of PVDF-DO/BB was increased by about 23%, and the flexibility was also improved. When the initial phosphate concentration was 1.0 mg/L, it could be reduced to 0.16 mg/L after P
