Summary:Men's health is an acute medical and social problem, which is dependent on the well-being of the country, including the demographic situation. We analyzed statistical data related to the sex-age composition of the population, the structure of morbidity and mortality in Belarus. We conducted a survey among 154 doctors of different specialties using anonymous questionnaire to assess the level of doctors' awareness of the problem of the androgen deficiency, which showed that only 23% of doctors consider the need to maintain a sufficient level of androgens to increase the life expectancy of men. In consideration of relationship of androgen deficiency with other somatic conditions, the developed system of the organization and delivery of medical assistance to patients with androgen deficiency can be recommended for use in practical health as a way to improve care for patients with androgen deficiency, which ultimately will contribute to the improvement of the health of the population.
