Summary: | In this article, a study is carried out on the educational problems of Ecuador and Chile, to analyze
the similarities and differences of the educational models established by both countries, based on
the economic, political, social and cultural environment. In the first part, the purposes of this
research are described and a tour of the main conceptions of Comparative Education as a scientific
and academic discipline is made. In the second part, a bibliographical review is made of the public
educational policies that have been implemented in recent years in Ecuador and Chile. In turn, the
concepts of poverty and inequality are related to the quality of education and the impact they
generate. in interdependence. This work seeks to collect information in relation to Latin American
education, to relate educational models, without falling into inherent simplifications of the
characteristics of Comparative Education, but rather to resume the discussion about the changes
that are needed to reduce levels of poverty and inequality. in Latin America, through improvements
in education.
En el presente artículo se realiza un estudio sobre las problemáticas educativas de Ecuador y Chile, para analizar las semejanzas y diferencias de los modelos educativos establecidos por ambos países, sobre la base del entorno, económico, político, social y cultural. En la primera parte se describen las finalidades de esta investigación y se realiza un recorrido sobre las principales concepciones de la Educación Comparada como disciplina científica y académica. En la segunda parte se hace un rastreo bibliográfico sobre las políticas públicas educativas que se han implementado en los últimos años en Ecuador y Chile, a su vez, se relacionan los conceptos de pobreza y desigualdad con la calidad de la educación y el impacto que generan en interdependencia. Este trabajo busca recopilar información en relación a la educación latinoamericana, para relacionar los modelos educativos, sin caer en simplificaciones inherentes de las características propias de la Educación Comparada, sino retomar la discusión sobre los cambios que se necesitan para disminuir los niveles de pobreza y desigualdad en América Latina, a través de las mejoras en la educación. |
