The present work exposes the development of a mobile application for students of the Latin American School of Medicine to use in the subject of Biostatistics. Many applications of mobile devices are becoming key tools for student learning in the world. The Biostatistics subject has a large number of terms and formulas in which our students present difficulties for its application and interpretation in the work of the subject and research they carry out, due in large part to the heterogeneity of student origin and the diversity of languages and dialects that speak. These conditions motivated the creation of the Glossary of Biostatistical terms in Spanish for mobile use. To develop this application it was necessary to collect, organize and define the statistical terms used in the medical career, as well as the formulas and graphics most used in this science; The Android 4.1 operating system was used, working in the Java programming language, as well as Photoshop for the creation of the presentation. In it, two options are offered to access the definitions: one through the list of terms that is activated in a tactile manner, and the other through a search engine that locates and displays the typed term, within the glossary of statistical terms. This will allow students access at will to each term at any time or place and at their own pace El presente trabajo expone el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil destinada a los estudiantes de la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina para utilizarla en la asignatura de Bioestadística. Muchas aplicaciones de los dispositivos móviles se están convirtiendo en herramientas clave para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes en el mundo. La asignatura Bioestadística tiene gran cantidad de términos y fórmulas en las que nuestros estudiantes presentan dificultades para su aplicación e interpretación en los trabajos de la asignatura e investigaciones que realizan debido, en gran parte, a la heterogeneidad de la procedencia estudiantil y la diversidad de idiomas y dialectos que hablan. Estas condiciones motivaron la creación del Glosario de términos Bioestadísticos en español para uso en los móviles. Para elaborar esta aplicación fue necesario acopiar, organizar y definir los términos estadísticos empleados en la carrera de Medicina, así como las fórmulas y los gráficos más utilizados en esta ciencia; se empleó el sistema operativo Androide 4.1, trabajando en lenguaje de programación Java, así como Photoshop para la creación de la presentación. En ella, se ofrecen dos opciones para acceder a las definiciones: una a través del listado de términos que se activa de manera táctil, y la otra a través de un buscador que localiza y muestra el término tecleado, dentro del glosario de términos estadísticos. Esto les permitirá a los estudiantes el acceso a voluntad a cada término en cualquier momento o lugar y a su propio ritmo
