Summary:An analysis of theoretical and methodological underpinnings for the establishment of interdisciplinary relationships from the teaching of Geography of Cuba History of Cuba.On the other hand, is introduced as an interdisciplinary mode geohistorical approach that allows the relationship between the two subjects in their systems that enhance relationships and develop values of national and local identity, which must be embodied in the way student performance. Se hace un análisis de los sustentos teórico-metodológicos para el establecimiento de las relaciones interdisciplinarias desde la enseñanza de la Geografía de Cuba con la Historia de Cuba. Por otra parte, se introduce el enfoque geohistórico como modalidad interdisciplinaria que permite la relación entre ambas asignaturas, las que en sus sistemas de relaciones potencian y desarrollan valores de identidad nacional y local, que deben estar materializados en el modo de actuación de los estudiantes.
