Summary:This study analyzed the contributions of collaborative interventions in the conception and development of an educational project which focuses on health promotion. It was carried out through a collaborative action research in a public school. Four teachers and 44 students took part in it. Each intervention took two hours and was developed once a week for four months. The research instruments were questionnaires and field diary, and the information were interpreted through categorical analysis. The design methodology provided students better educational opportunities, encouraging meaningful learning. Interventions improved the quality of education by emphasizing the importance of spreading the contributions of collaborative learning and the project strategy in school environment. Este estudo analisou as contribuições de intervenções colaborativas na concepção e desenvolvimento de um projeto pedagógico com foco na promoção da saúde. Realizou-se uma pesquisa-ação colaborativa numa escola pública, envolvendo quatro professores e 44 alunos. As intervenções foram realizadas durante quatro meses, uma vez por semana, com 2 horas de duração. Os instrumentos de pesquisa foram: questionário e diário de campo, sendo as informações interpretadas pela análise categorial. O método de projetos proporcionou aos alunos novas descobertas favorecendo a aprendizagem significativa. As intervenções melhoraram a qualidade do ensino apontando para a importância de difundir na escola as contribuições do ensino colaborativo e da estratégia de projetos.
