Summary:Integrated processing of the electrolyte is one of the priority tasks for copper producers. In this work, in order to obtain high-quality copper and nickel sulfate, the method of neutralization, dehydrogenation, extraction of impurities (As, Sb, Bi) with pseudobrookite, additional oxidation of iron to trivalent, neutralization of the solution with nickel carbonate with the release of insoluble compounds of copper, iron and zinc, and crystallization of sulfate nickel.
