Summary:The problems that people face in their personal finances, as well as the decisions they make about issues such as savings, investment, credit, among others; are due to ignorance and the lack of existing financial inclusion. The purpose of this document is to present a proposal for a course program that allows the use of technological simulation tools in the field of savings and investment, to promote financial learning of university students. The study is of documentary design with referential foundation. As results, the analysis of the instructional designs that were characterized as relevant for the development of the course proposal to favor financial education in university students was obtained, finally it is concluded with the application of the Jonassen Instructional Design with six phases for its approach. Los problemas que enfrentan las personas en sus finanzas personales, así como las decisiones que toman acerca de temas como el ahorro, la inversión, crédito, entre otros; se deben al desconocimiento y la falta de inclusión financiera existente. El presentedocumento tiene como propósito presentar una propuesta de programa de curso que permita utilizar herramientas tecnológicas de simulación en el campo del ahorro y la inversión, para favorecer el aprendizaje financiero de los alumnos universitarios. El estudio es de diseño documental con fundamentación referencial. Como resultados se obtuvo el análisis de los diseños instruccionales que se caracterizaron como pertinentes para el desarrollo de la propuesta del curso para favorecer la educación financiera en los universitarios, finalmente se concluye con la aplicación del Diseño Instruccional Jonassen con seis fases para su planteamiento.
