Summary:One way to overcome the problem of nursing rheumatoid atritis patients is by doing physical activity or exercising. This rheumatoid atritis diasesae cause pain in the joints so that in interferens with the ederly in their daily activities. The problem in this study is that there are still many ederly people who experience rheumatoid atritis pain in the Tresna Werdha Social Institution In Bengkulu City. The research objective was to determine the relationship between physical activity and rheumatoid atritis pain in the ederly at Tresna Werdah Social Institutoin Bengkulu City. This study used a Cross- Sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 70 people. The sampel in this study amounted to 40 people. The data used are secondary data. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, the statistical test used was the Chi square test. The results of ubivariate analysis obtained data from a small proportion of respondents (20%) with moderate activity, and almost the majority of respondents (80%) with light activity. Almost half of the respondents (30%) with rheumatoid atritis pain increased and mos of the respondents (70%) with rheumatoid atritis pain decreased. The results obtained a p value (0,002). It was concluded the there is a relationship between physical activity and rheumatoid atritis pain in the ederly. It was hoped that nurse can improve health promotion regarding physical activities that must be carried out by the ederly who have rheumatoid atritisKeywords : Physical Activity, Rheumatoid Atritis Pain In Ederly
