Summary:The adversities arising from academic demands have led students to stressful situations, creating problems in their well-being. The assessment of students' resilience in higher education can promote pedagogical actions that mobilize them towards a better adaptation to the learning process. For this, instruments, such as scales and questionnaires, allow assessing students' resilience. The objective of this paper is to present the results of a systematic literature review carried out on assessment scales and questionnaires of students' resilience in higher education, detailing their characteristics, such as sample, size, reliability and country of study. We selected 87 primary studies, published between 2018 and 2022, for an in-depth analysis. Thus, 23 resilience assessment scales and questionnaires were identified. The results suggest that the construction of new instruments for assessing resilience specifically aimed at the context of education should be explored. In addition, we observed that the COVID-19 pandemic influenced the interventions to assess students' resilience in higher education.
