Summary:The article deals with the feasibility of application of automated project management systems (ACS) at shipbuilding plants with single and small-scale production types. Currently, there is an intensive complication and increase in the scale of shipbuilding production. Economic and mathematical management methods and information technologies are being introduced into production, which have high speed, logic flexibility, and a significant amount of memory. Information technologies serve as the basis for the development of automated control systems and qualitatively change the management form, significantly increasing its efficiency. However, not all shipbuilding plants have the financial ability to introduce automation into production management, since all automated control system software products are expensive. In addition to purchasing the software, the entire production requires re-equipment.
