Summary:The article provides a brief description of Dr. Thomas Gordon’s programs: Parents Effective Training, Training Effective Teachers, Training Effective Children and Youth. They have proved their efficiency in recent decades, combining traditional techniques with innovative methods of pedagogical interaction with children. Previous surveys in this direction show the desire of the trainees in the program to have more interaction with the leader, practical exercises and, of course, lots of games. The training methodology of the programs includes a high percentage of use of the game approach when interacting with the participants. The opinion of 40 persons trained in the programs was studied through a survey card, with the aim of tracking their attitude towards the use of the game approach during the training. Of course, there are also negative opinions – some of the participants in the training do not want to waste their time in games or do not get involved due to the lack of communication skills. On the basis of the obtained results, relevant conclusions were made, which give good ideas for optimizing the practice. Program coaches are trained to use the game approach, including themed and recreational games, as well as familiarization and de-stressing games, which in most cases lead to positive outcomes.
