A LEI GERAL DE PROTEÇÃO DE DADOS PESSOAIS À LUZ DA CIÊNCIA DA INFORMAÇÃO uma análise bibliométrica

The objective of the research was to present the bibliometric panorama of the scientific productions in the field of Information Science, indexed in the Reference Database of Articles from Periodicals in Information Science that deal with the General Personal Data Protection Law. This is an exploratory research with a quanti-qualitative approach that used the bibliometric method to analyze the data. The results point to a low number of productions (22) and researchers (55), in Information Science, engaged in discussions about the General Personal Data Protection Law, since only four authors published more than one paper on the subject. The themes discussed in the texts point to the concern of the authors with current and sensitive issues discussed both in the area of Information Science and in society. Finally, it is understood that, although discussions about the General Personal Data Protection Law are still incipient in the area of Information Science, justified by the short time that this law has been in force, it is possible to infer an increase in production and research interest based on the increase of papers published per year and by the discussions that have been occurring in society on issues related to the theme of this research. O objetivo da pesquisa foi apresentar o panorama bibliométrico das produções científicas no domínio da Ciência da Informação, indexadas na Base de Dados Referencial de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação que versam sobre a Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória e de abordagem quanti-qualitativa que se utilizou do método bibliométrico para análise dos dados. Os resultados apontam para um número baixo de produções (22) e pesquisadores (55), na Ciência da Informação, engajados com as discussões sobre Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, uma vez que apenas quatro autores que publicaram mais de um trabalho sobre o tema. As temáticas discutidas nos textos apontam para a preocupação dos autores com questões atuais e sensíveis discutidas tanto na área da Ciência da Informação quanto na sociedade. Por fim, entende-se que, apesar de as discussões sobre Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais ainda serem incipientes na área Ciência da Informação, justificada pelo pouco tempo que esta lei está em vigor é possível inferir um aumento na produção e interesse de pesquisa fundamentado no aumento dos trabalhos publicados por ano e pelas discussões que vêm ocorrendo na sociedade sobre questões relacionados à temática dessa pesquisa.
