Summary: | The aim of this study is to determine the importance of personality theme in terms of organizations. In this regard first the concept of personality was explained generally and focused on the factors affecting personality and the characteristics of the concept of personality. Then, the importance of personality for organizations was examined. In this context, the importance of personality in terms of organization was evaluated over three dimensions which are respectively; recruitment, understanding employee behavior and personality and specific organizational variables relations. In the study the importance of personality in terms of recruitment, understanding employee behavior and various organizational variables has been revealed through the relevant literature. At the end of the study, some recommendations were suggested for researchers and organizations regarded with research areas and practices. |
