Summary:With the expression extrême contemporain, the academics intend to refer to the most recent French Literary Production, as a concept in continuous movement, and consequently impossible to include within any particular scheme. Therefore, it is not possible to frame into a specific and all-embracing trend, as it focuses its attention on the latest part of contemporaneity. Among the several genres considered, the poetic one seems to be the most interesting and peculiar, as this one, more than any other creative writing expression, leads the poets to the quest of their origin in a world overwhelmed by the globalization, where the “traditional” cardinal points are mixed and brought into a question by a “new” lyric: the poetics of wandering. Sud/Nord of Thanh-Vân Tôn-Thât is the proof of a tangible advanced wander poetry, where the poet (a metaphor of a human species who’s becoming more and more a laic errant of the existence) comes back to himself to search for the places where he comes from.
