Summary:Sustainable project management is an approach that considers the social, environmental and economic impacts of a project. There is increasing pressure from the organization's environment to include sustainability in the project management approach. The purpose of this article is to present the state of the art in sustainable project management. Based on a review of recent literature, the concepts of sustainability and project were defined as components of the new research stream of sustainable project management. The study presents a framework for the process of sustainable project management, along with its limitations and basic dimensions. The paper emphasizes the importance of sustainable project management in promoting sustainable development and minimizing negative environmental and social impacts in various areas of business operations.
