Summary:The article describes the main musicological publications that exist at present on the problems of Schubert’s creation. Weare talking about editions in German, English, French, Romanian and Russian. Here are analyzed the books by V. Dams, F.Brown, O.E. Deutsch, G. Oprea, the works of Y. Khokhlov, V. Vasina-Grossman, P. Wulfius, I. Lavrentieva and others. It is concluded that the presented studies provide a sound basis for creating an integral panorama of the development of the Austro-German musical traditions in Schubert’s creations, as well as for showing the innovative features of his works of different genres.
