So capital market, national income, gross domestic product rate, balance of payment, imports and export and supply of goods. Internally and externally are all affected. The global economy faces its biggest danger since the financial crisis. Containing the epidemic and protecting people is the priority. A singular event has economists asking the same questions as everyone else: how far is there to fall – and can we ever get back?
