Summary:The Dominicans from the monastery in Brzeg held intensive charity collecting activity, both in that city and in other localities of Silesia, within the boundaries of the area belonging to them. The collecting practices can be reconstructed on the basis of the accounts of revenues and expenditures of the convent preserved in the Department of Manuscripts of the Wrocław University Library. They show that the Dominican collecting was intensive, well organised and carried out by monks specialising in acquiring monetary donations and natural goods.
