The methodology for Rapid Landscape Assessment presented, had been initially developed for the purpose of the development of the management plan of Rila Monastery Nature Park. Significant amount of information from the field have been generated and analyzed by multi-disciplinary team in a relatively short period of time. It was proved that the approach of rapid assessment is a good practice for cost-effective, rapid and efficient assessment of natural resources.
