New approach to tertiary carbinamines

Tertiary carbinamines (t-alkyl amines) can be conveniently obtained by dephosphorylation of diethyl N-t-alkylphosphoramidates 1 with 20% hydrochloric acid-tetra-hydrofuran(1:1 v/v).
