Summary:Interdisciplinarity will become, not only a way of content restructuring, but also a new way to organize learning. This paper proposes a framework for building ontology for e-learning and aims for a navigation and efficient retrieval and reuse content in the “virtual university”. The framework used the content annotation Learning Object (LO), and the content structure by exploiting Learning Object Metadata (LOM). Ontology can be used for content analysis, recognition of concepts, the relationship between them and allows search and retrieval of content produced by query and the reuse of it in different subjects, using the MP7QF framework specific to MPEG-7.
