Summary: | Temperature measurement plays an important role in many electronic systems and this has fuelled strong growth in the temperature sensor market. As in most areas of application of electronics, sensors are subject to the demands of higher performance, more features, form factor reductions and increased ease of use in each temperature sensor product generation. In the past a criticism of silicon based sensors is they rarely offer the high accuracy or precision of thermistors. This features explores the accuracy of a new generation of silicon based sensors now available. |
