[...]AOD is an indirect proxy of air quality (Chen et al., 2013; Kumar et al., 2013). [...]annual trends of AOD can provide indirect measures of changes in air are changing with the growth in numbers of new vehicles and industries.\n in AOD; for example, the total increase in built-up areas, largely concentrated in the southern parts of the study area, was 0.68 percent, and the increase in AOD in these areas was more than 0.1 (~14.9 percent of the average AOD value).
