Summary:For this, a systematic search of research articles related to the subject of study is made, applying the consolidated meta-analytic approach theory (TEMAC). The analysis was carried out with 375 articles that have been published in the period 2011 to 2023. The results show a growing interest in the study of this subject, being that around 99% of articles were published in an increasing and constant way from the year 2018. The bibliographic coupling analysis allowed us to determine four trends in research on this topic: 1) Related to accelerated digitalization strategies to survive the pandemic; 2) The study of different technologies such as industry 4.0, the Internet of things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and emerging digital platforms such as the metaverse and social networks as means for the digital transformation of enterprises; 3) Economic and financial resources for the digital transformation of enterprises; 4) Finally, the new approaches to education for digital entrepreneurship.
