Summary:Any industrial company - either mining raw materials or making an industrial product - needs employees. Qualified and satisfied employees do their work well; they keep working with their company for a long time and strive for improving and innovations in production. The competence of employees arises from many factors - one of them is a financial rating. This rating consists of wages and other benefits provided by employers. In the Ústí nad Labem region (the Czech Republic), there is a problem to find and retain employees. Therefore many companies lure qualified and able people from other companies - often within particular industrial zones - on the basis of wages and other provided benefits. On the basis of personal expenses and benefits within a mining company which exploits the brown coal (as well as three other companies it the Ústí nad Labem Region), the level and structure of personal expenses - including benefits - is analyzed regarding an employee. This analysis covers the period of 2013 - 2017.
