Summary:Recently, in the Republic of Korea, a policy has been implemented in the school's sports field that combines exercise and study. An effective training method was required to overcome the shortage of training time for students because of the policy. The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile coaching system for each sport that can help school sports coaches to lead players effectively. The developed system of this study allows them to understand the players' records and movements like the statistical analysis program used in the Korean Basketball League (KBL). This mobile coaching system was developed to be used by soccer, basketball and volleyball teams. In this mobile coaching system, input data are stored as picture files on the Photo Gallery menu. This is so that when the coaches direct the athlete on the field, they explain a strategy by showing screen images of players and a ball on the playground. Through tests in real athletic trainings, this study was able to determine which sport games are proper for the mobile coaching system.
