Distribution of spontaneous emission from an Er super(3+)-doped photonic crystal fiber
The paper studies the emission of 532-nm light through the photonic crystal cladding of an optically pumped Er super(3+)-doped silica/air photonic crystal fiber. The angular emission pattern is compared with the results of a multiple scattering simulation. Good agreement is obtained
