Summary: | This research aims to develop learning media for programming language recognition in the ICT class of SMPI Al Abidin Surakarta which focuses on Information and Communication Technology lessons, as well as testing the effectiveness and feasibility of these learning media. This type of research uses research model development or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development method (Analysis, Design, Manufacture/ Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were media experts, material experts, subject teachers, and class VIII students in the ICT class of SMPI Al Abidin Surakarta consisting of 31 students. The data collection techniques used by researchers are interview techniques, observation, documentation, the use of validation test questionnaires, System Usability Scale questionnaires, practice questions, or post-tests used to test the effectiveness of programming language learning media in the ICT class of SMPI Al Abidin Surakarta. The feasibility test was conducted using a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results of the study found that there was a significant difference between the scores of student learning outcomes before using media and after using programming language learning media with an average difference of 15.0 where the average score before using media was 60.83 and the average score after using media was 75.83 so that this learning media was effective for use in improving student learning outcomes. Feasibility testing with System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire that will be filled out by students. Based on the results of the questionnaire calculation, the average SUS score of 72.34 was obtained, which is included in the "Acceptable" category with a class scale of "C" and a rating of "Excellent". The results of this study can be a reference material for other researchers related to the use of programming language learning media in the ICT class of SMPI Al Abidin Surakarta in learning that has a positive impact on student learning outcomes. |
