Germany: Arbitral tribunals can refuse evidence offers in good faith
In its judgment dated December 4, 1996, the court of appeals of Hamburg ruled that an arbitral tribunal does not violate due process if it rejects an offer of evidence in the reasonable belief that the evidence is unsuitable to prove the matter for which it is offered.
