Composition of the Hardened Surface of a Carbide Cutting Tool

The composition of a tool material based on WC–Co is investigated. The TiAlN surface coating is studied. The physicomechanical properties of hard-alloy end mills produced by Guhring and LEPSE Electrical Machine Plant are analyzed.
