Summary:The main components of a test facility for investigation of high-current superconductor short samples are described. This facility, located at the Efremov Institute, includes equipment for studying the main characteristics of superconductors: current carrying ability in high fields (~11 T) and AC losses. A generated 11.2-T field was achieved using the superconducting split magnet (working volume 150 mmx90 mmx25 mm). The test installation for AC loss measurement makes it possible to examine the losses in high-current full-scale short samples of superconducting cables in a field up to 4 T and at a charging rate of 0.5 T/s
