Summary:Corrosion speed of a conductive connection made of two chemically different metallic materials with not equal resistance to electrochemical corrosion under applied conditions is changing in comparison with that state, when both materials are independently corroded in the same corrosion environment. Some results of investigation of corrosion macrocells, formed in the mutual conductive connection of some structural materials under conditions of the simulated corrosion tests, are given in the contribution. Corrosion macrocells constituted steels STN 41 5127, STN 41 1523, STN 41 7241, cast steel STN 42 2643 and ductile cast iron STN 42 2306 (VEGA SR 5, 1/9373/02).
