Summary:The paper presents the main descriptive statistics indicators of an exploratory study regarding resident's attitude as potential tourists towards sustainable tourism and willingness to pay in Mures County, Romania. The results show us that 61.2% of potential tourists are willingness to pay more for product and services that have an explicit component that protect nature, by 16.2% more those whose work is related to environmental protection, most of them (49.2%) accepting a higher price (between 5%-10%) for those services.
