Wavelength and duration tunable sub-picosecond source using adiabatic Raman compression

A wavelength and pulse duration tunable source of sub-picosecond pulses has been demonstrated at a repetition rate of 10 GHz using adiabatic Raman compression of 10 ps pulses from an external cavity laser and an electro-absorption modulator.
